Peace doesn’t mean you won’t have problems. Peace means your problems won’t have you. – Dr. Tony Evans
Proverbs 19:21NIV Many are the plans in a man’s heart, but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails.
Lord please help us to trust and wait upon you.
God gives us free will to make choices. His desire is for us to choose Him and to put our trust in the plans He has for us. He desires for us to stop trying to live a life without Him and outside of His Will. Oh we can try, but in the end, God’s plans and purpose will prevail.
Logic dictates to join the winning team. True, unconditional Love draws you closer to its source. That source is God.
Foolishness and selfishness, tricks you in to trying to go it alone or to try and be a star on the losing team. The choice will always be ours on whose team we want to be a part of.
Make no mistake, we can make all the plans we like for ourselves, however, any and all of those plans that leaves God out of the center of them, is like building a house out of cards in a windstorm; no foundation strong enough to help it stand against the winds of life.

So let’s get real. God is in control. Always has been, always will be. We can hope and wish and beg for our ways and plans to be blessed by Him, but when it comes right down to it, God’s Will, will be done.
Therefore, it is critical for us to find God’s Will for our lives. Understand our role in it. Then give all we have to live in it.
I can’t tell you how many fruitless times that I have rolled out my plans before God Almighty to ask, plead, beg for Him to bless them. Only until I came to the realization that God doesn’t work for me, I should be living for Him. Then I began to understand His Will for my life. We are His instruments to be used for His glory, not the other way around.
My brothers and sisters, I know that we want and feel we need a lot of things to go right in our lives. We want and desire physical, financial, spiritual, and relational breakthroughs in our lives daily. But it is solely up to God to determine when, how, where, how many and what breakthroughs we will have in our lives. Just like the miracles that Jesus and His disciples performed to show the power and glory of God, so are our lives.
How do we deal with this? We must know that God’s Will for our lives is a certainty. We will serve His purposes and we will be blessed for it. We are fallible, God is perfect. His plans are better than anything we can conceive of.
That’s our Victory!
