What Are We Worrying About?

“The secret of Christian quietness is not indifference, but the knowledge that God is my Father, He loves me, I shall never think of anything He will forget, and worry becomes an impossibility. ” — Oswald Chambers

Luke 12:25-26NLT 25Can all your worries add a single moment to your life? Of course not! 26 And if worry can’t do little things like that, what’s the use of worrying over bigger things?

Easier said than done, but not impossible. Recognizing who God is and our relationship to Him, should put into perspective just how blessed we are with His love, mercy, protection and provisions. There is nothing that God doesn’t own or can provide for His children.

We worry because we lack faith and are full of fear.

An ever increasing desire to know God will reveal that He has never failed to come through on behalf of His people. He is our loving Father and will provide all that we need at the proper time.

The key here is, “His proper time.”

I’m guilty of allowing fear and worry to set in when I feel that time is running out on my needs/wants. I must remember that God’s timing, along with His ways, are not like mine. Simply because I can not see farther than my own human eyesight, nor able to think with my finite mind, that those things that seem impossible, being possible in God’s hands.

Don’t you know that with just a Word, God can totally eliminate all heartache, all pain, remove all doubts, fears and worries? He can cause the storms to cease both physically and spiritually. With a touch, with a word, He can heal, restore, renew, remove and revive the hearts and minds of all men. He doesn’t in all cases, because He is Sovereign. He is Holy and Righteous and Just. This we must never forget and most importantly, rely on.

Because He is Holy, Righteous and Just AND we are His; we can rest assured that the end results for us, is His good and perfect plan.

Rest my brothers and sisters. Rest in the loving and caring arms of our Heavenly Father. For He knows not only what you know, be also what you don’t. It is what we don’t know that can destroy us or our love ones. So relying and trusting solely in and upon Christ, is our priority.

Bless someone during this time with the authentic love of Christ.

God bless.
