1 John 3:16a NIV This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters.

John 3:16-17 NIV 16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.

Heavenly Father, we thank you for your love that is shown clearly, by your Son, Jesus. Help us to fully understand and incorporate this love into our lives. Not just hypocritically on Sunday mornings, but humbly and powerfully, each and every moment of our lives. We are grateful for your love and only desire to represent your love in this world. We praise you today and everyday. It is in Jesus name we pray, Amen.
