Holy Spirit, we acknowledge your wonderful presence in our lives and thank you for renewing a right spirit within us. We are thankful for all that you bring to us, your work in and through us and granting us the ability to live righteously and victoriously in this world. We ask today that you will open our eyes and ears to see and appreciate the sacrifice our Savior made for us, to deeply know the love our Heavenly Father has for us and to realize your ongoing presence in us. We thank you for the daily comfort you bring and the ability to receive power from the very Word of God. Thank you for the ability to produce good and godly fruit. Help us to live a life that is pleasing and acceptable to our Heavenly Father. Thank you for filling us and working through us. It is in Jesus name we pray, Amen.

It’s really a no-brainer, as they say, that any individual, group, company, or any entity without a clear vision of who they are or what they want to be or where they want to go, will ultimately lead to confusion, frustration and limited success. Even those entities with immoral, destructive and hateful goals, ultimately fail over time when confronted by someone or some group empowered with a vision of righteousness and common good for all.

What we face today, especially as Christians, is a limited view or vision of the power of Almighty God. We hear it preached or taught every Sunday, read it in the Bible for ourselves, or through Christian books and devotionals or often times, even experience it daily in our lives.

Yes, the Sovereign and Omnipotent power of God.

That power that was demonstrated in the birth, ministry, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. That power that fills us, comforts us and guides us daily as the voice of God, through the Holy Spirit. This same power that has been described throughout the Bible and testimonies of individuals, great and small throughout history.

When we lose the Vision that is promised, no declared, that Christ will return for His people and that God will put an end to ALL the evil of this world, we also lose hope and direction. We give in to whatever lusts and fears that continues to reside deep within our hearts because we no longer can see the promise made to us, that we will be made ready for the return of our King. And we perish in the midst of our despair, unbelief and lack of faith.

As Believers…WE MUST BELIEVE! No matter what it appears to be. No matter how long it may take. WE MUST SEE that which is not humanly visible, but rely on seeing through the eyes of the Holy Comforter, that will maintain that Vision of eternal life with our Creator.

This is Victory. This is living with a purpose.
