Only God Can Fill That Void In Your Life

Heavenly Father, it is with a humble spirit, a heart, desiring the fullness of your love and a growing faith, that we come to you today. If only to ask that you fill us to overflowing of your Spirit, Grace and Love. Thank you for being merciful to us Oh Lord, for we know we don’t deserve anything that you have provided. We long to please you, in loving you more than anything else, and out of that love, be able to love others, as you have asked us to. As we go about our day, help us to keep our minds and hearts focused on You. For we will never find contentment, joy and peace any thing else, but You. We are grateful that we can come to you in prayer. Help us now to listen intently to your voice and in hearing, passionately and faithful, follow what you tell us. For we know, that whatever you have for us today, is for our benefit and your glory. Thank you Father. It is in Jesus name we ask and pray, Amen.

“At the end of the day, the problem is not with food – nor any other outside factor. Our lack of peace with ourselves, the emptiness we keep trying to fill or escape, can only be satisfied by the ONE who shaped us.” – Dr. Charles Stanley

Ephesians 3: 12, 14-21 NLT 12 Because of Christ and our faith in him, we can now come boldly and confidently into God’s presence.

14 When I think of all this, I fall to my knees and pray to the Father, 15 the Creator of everything in heaven and on earth. 16 I pray that from his glorious, unlimited resources he will empower you with inner strength through his Spirit. 17 Then Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him. Your roots will grow down into God’s love and keep you strong. 18 And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love is. 19 May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God. 20 Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think. 21 Glory to him in the church and in Christ Jesus through all generations forever and ever! Amen.

One day, we will know and understand the fullness of God’s love, power and glory. I can’t wait!! I look for it daily. I know and believe it will come, because God’s Word says so. Each day, God imparts more and more of His love, power and glory in us. We must not take this blessing lightly. No, we need to grab a hold of it, cherish it and allow it to work its perfecting work within us. It is only through understanding this process that our spirits become prepared for the fullness of God’s glory.

It is the work of God to make room in us and then fill us with His presence, in order to make us whole again. We are unable to fill that void in our lives and nothing outside of Christ, can fill it. When we try, we give our peace away. We throw our joy away. We allow bitterness and despair to take up residence in our hearts. Our mind becomes corrupted and turns our hearts to stone.

Let it all go…and allow God to renew and refill us until we over flow in the character and likeness of Christ.

Glory to God for what He has done, doing and promises to do.

Be blessed.
