We take in the information we see and hear, filter it through our experiences, hopes, doubts and fears, then determine our actions based on how we feel. Oh, we think we have come to our decisions in a logical and methodical manner, but doesn’t it really come down to how we feel based on the condition of our hearts?

At the end of the day or when we stand before our Creator, our lives will be measured by the TRUTH. Not our truth, but God’s. Did we believe in Jesus and the Son of God? Did we repent of our sins and sought to follow after the ways and character of Christ? And with our free-will, did we choose a life of faith in Jesus?
Every day we are bombarded with a new “truth.” A new way of living, of believing, and a new thing to believe in. Every day we are confronted with an attack on the validity of the Gospel of Christ and the Kingdom of God. Every day we are challenged to stand on the truth of the Word of God or the dictates of the world.
The question today really is, “What truth is your foundation built on?” The answer, your answer has eternal implications.
