Our hope in Jesus secures for eternity all of the promises of God.  That if we will just trust, believe, hope and hold on, just a little while longer, we will rest from our labors, our brokenness will be repaired, what we believe we have lost will be restored and what was stolen will be returned, a thousand-fold.  I’m not necessarily or just talking about those physical or natural things that so occupy our thoughts and lives, but the things of God.  You know what I mean:  You can have a mansion on a hill, but not have a loving home.  You can have power, wealth and fame, but still have a heart that’s heavy and lonely.  You can surround yourself with all the material possessions and relationships a person can have, yet still have a spirit of fear, hurt and hopelessness.

As hard as it is right now, we must set our hearts and spirits to something greater and higher than what we are today and where we are today.  We must see ourselves rejoicing in the presence of our Lord and Savior Jesus.  We must know that we have been endued with Power from on high. The Power to overcome and be victorious in all things. The Power to speak to our circumstances and command our situations to change for the glory of God to be revealed.

This is the hope that Jesus provides and makes available to us.

The world is in need of hope today.  You may need a little more hope today. Will you put your hope in Jesus?
